Inside a critique

What every critique delivers.

Nine sections, written like a candid review. Each one pulls from the channel's last 25 uploads and the metrics computed off them. Direct, specific, no platitudes.

  1. What they're making

Three to five sentences in present tense on the channel's recent topics, formats, and tone. Sets up the critique.

  2. What missed

Underperformers vs. the recent baseline: shared patterns plus a per-video teardown of the bottom outliers (hook problem, thumbnail problem, why it missed, the fix).

  3. Rhythm

How often the channel posts, and whether the cadence is helping or hurting.

  4. Length & format

Duration distribution and shorts-versus-longs mix across the recent window.

  5. Top tags

The dominant topic clusters across recent uploads, ranked.

  6. How they title things

Title-line patterns: questions, numbers, average length, exclamations, all-caps words.

  7. When they hit publish

Day-of-week and hour distribution for the recent uploads.

  8. What to fix

Three to six concrete improvements the channel could make this week. No platitudes.

  9. Your next move

One concrete, testable change for the next video, grounded in the misses above, with the failure mode named honestly.
